The Shumen National Sculpture Biennale is in full swing

We draw your attention to a fine art, to the sculpting and modeling of beautiful plastic works that remain eternal masterpieces for generations to come. The National Sculpture Biennale in Shumen is in full swing. It was officially opened on 20.07.2022. and will continue until 29.07.2022, and the theme is "Thracian motifs". Through it, we will have the opportunity to get to know the cultural and historical heritage of Shumen and the region and to promote the city and its sights as an attractive place for creating art.

Eight sculptors work on a specially equipped site on the meadow behind the "Green School" on the territory of the Shumensko Plateau Nature Park. These are Kaloyan Todorov and Behchet Danaj from Shumen; Vladimir Veselinov and Radko Valchev from Veliko Tarnovo, Daniel Kanchev from Ruse, Atanas Stoyanov from Burgas, Angel Karavlanov from Plovdiv and Olga Yordanova from Sofia.

Тhe finished sculptures will be positioned in the "Kiosks" park and all residents and guests of the city will be able to see how these artists managed to breathe life into an ordinary stone from Vratsa.
