The wild carob trees bloom in May. There are very typical of Veliki Preslav area. You can see them around Preslav National and Archaelogical Reserve. This species of trees is protected and grows in “Patleyna” reserve.
You can also visit the Monastery “St Panteleymon” in Patleyna reserve, as well as the Round church and the remains of the second capital of Bulgaria Veliki Preslav.
