Museum of the horse at Kabiyuk horse farm opens its doors for free visits on Shumen’s Day
Dear fellow citizens and guests of Shumen,
on the occasion of Shumen’s Day, on May 11, the Kabiyuk Regional Government will celebrate the city’s holiday by opening the doors of the Horse Museum for free visits.
Since the end of the last century, his collection contains hundreds of exhibits that testify to the achievements of Shumen riders and horses in the various disciplines of equestrian sports. Exhibits and photos show farm, sport and cavalry horses, as well as the development of horse breeding from the Thracians to oursdays.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see an exhibition containing important documents, as well as the military chariot of the second monarch of modern Bulgaria – Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg.
The working hours of the “Museum of the Horse” are from 09:00 to 16:00.
