Pianist Margarita Ilieva with a concert for the Shumen audience

At the beginning of the spring month of March, the Symphony of Shumen extends an invitation to fans of piano music.
On March 1 /Wednesday/, works by Bulgarian authors will be performed by Margarita Ilieva /piano/ and a chamber ensemble of the symphony orchestra. The bulgarian pianist will recreate for the Shumen audience the entire cycle of sixteen metrorhythmic pieces for piano by L. Pipkov “Spring Primitives” , in which the composer has in a unique way translated the characteristic features of Bulgarian folk music.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the National Culture Fund.
