Symphonic concert on the occasion of March 8

On March 9 /Thursday/ the Shumen Symphony offers a musical compliment on the occasion of the Ladies’ Day. Flautist Zdravka Ivanova, accompanied by the symphony orchestra, will present us the beautiful Flute Concerto in D major by K. Reineke, written at the beginning of the 20th century and considered one of the most beloved concertos by performers. Conducted by maestro Kalina Vasileva, the overtures “That’s what all women do” by V. A. Mozart and “The Tale of the Beautiful Melusina” by F. Mendelssohn, as well as music from the musical “Funny face” by J. Gershwin.
