The most modern planetarium in the country was opened in Shumen

On November 1, 2024 the most modern planetarium in Bulgaria was opened at the Astronomical Observatory on the Shumen Plateau.

The image is realized by combining 4 projectors with 3D technology and a picture with 4k image quality, without using glasses. The projection system used for the planetarium makes it the most modern in Bulgaria among other planetariums. It has 12 ergonomic seats.

Entrance fees:

BGN 15 – adults

BGN 10 – students

For children under 7 years of age, the visit is not advisable, because of the danger of vision damage.

Working hours:

Wednesday-Friday: 14:00 – 22:00

Saturday-Sunday: 11:00 – 19:00

Days off: Monday and Tuesday.
