Support center for personal development – ODK “Anastas Stoyanov” Shumen

The United Children’s Complex is a Center for support for the personal development of children and students, a prestigious school for selectively satisfying the interests, abilities and competencies of children and students from the city of Shumen and providing an opportunity for their expression in the field of science, technology and arts.

It has a modern material base, cozy offices, an attractive base for recreation and training on the territory of the “Shumensko Plateau” Nature Park.
The complex offers over 30 original pedagogical forms – clubs, schools, formations, tailored to the wishes, interests and free time of children and parents. They are open and accessible to all children, regardless of their social status, ethnicity and religion. In them, experienced educators create and implement original and mobile programs for informal education in every age group. The Complex is gradually taking shape as a center not only for extracurricular activities, but also a preferred place for presence and communication.

The children’s complex is an organizer of attractive, mass public performances throughout the year. In them, children and students have the exceptional opportunity for personal expression in competitions, contests, festivals, exhibitions in various fields of knowledge.

Among the beautiful forest of the “Shumensko Plateau” National Park next to the “Old Town” Fortress is the recreation base of the CPLR Municipal Children’s Complex. It has:
– 26 beds – 6 rooms with 3 beds and 2 rooms with 4 beds; – 2 halls – for relaxation, games, activities – dining room and kitchen unit.

During the summer, the activities of interests are not interrupted and for this purpose the base at 152 “Tsar Osvoboditel” St. in the house “Baba Raina” is used.
