“Mountain climb Shumen 2023” car race

The “Mountain Climb Shumen 2023” car race will be held on April 8 and 9 in Shumen. The rally is the first round of the national mountain climbing championship and is dedicated to the iconic Shumen pilot Valery Velikov.

Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted from March 27 (Monday) to the email address:  staristolici@abv.bg , and the deadline for registration is April 2. The list of all participants will be published on April 5 on the website of ASK Shumen Autosport and on the Facebook page of the rally.

The official opening is on April 8 at 12:30 p.m. in front of the monument to Valery Velikov next to the entrance to the “Kiosks” park. Before that, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., the technical inspection of the cars will be carried out in the service park on “Rakovski” Street (the bus turnaround – “The Bear” and the parking lot). At 1:30 p.m., training in three heats will begin. On April 9, the start of the competition is at 10:00 a.m. The vehicles will start from the entrance to the “Kiosks” park and will pass through the “Hut” area. The finale is after Villa “Pazachnitsa” in the direction of the “Founders of the Bulgarian State” memorial complex.
